This pre-owned Diamond has been expertly re-set with its original collet, taken from a period brooch, and paired with a new Platinum band and millegrain-set Diamond shoulders. This original collet is what gives this ring its one-of-a-kind appearance, its double claw setting subtly accentuating the effect of the over 1ct old cut stone. Old cut Diamonds are hand and eye cut stones, lacking the precision of the later brilliant cut, resulting in a softer and more romantic appearance. This gorgeous piece is the ideal engagement ring, combining vintage charm with the durability and practicality of a modern design, perfect for everyday wear.
